the day i became a movie star

the day i became a movie star
i slept almost 'til noon
sorted my clothes to do my laundry
stood on my head out on the point
ran backwards & sideways along the beach
tossing stones over my shoulders
then drove around LAX
looking for the way to the beach
at the end of the runways
where i got to smile for the camera
playing a "homeless man"
holding a sign that read
"change today?"
and just as the camera started to roll
dolphins popped up right in front of me
what a great day
then i went & did my laundry
nothing like clean pants for the next few months

yup
this was for a film called
"threshold" to be screened in
the 168 hour film festival
march 7th in glendale, ca
this whole thing came about
on tuesday my friend louise
who i havent heard from in months
called out of the blue
& left a message
about her friend bill
directing this film for the film
festival where each production team
takes a verse from the bible
& has 168 hours to create a film
about 10 minutes long....
& the rest
is history...right?
