night before last attended a private screening of
peaceful warrior
the film adaptation of dan millman's novel
"way of the peaceful warrior"
from the producers of "what the bleep do we know"
held in the 50 seat screening room
at lionsgate films in santa monica

we showed up right on time
with only front row seats left
the fellow welcomed everyone
said we'd have a discussion after the film
the film was great
starring nick nolte as socrates
after the credits the lights come up
the fellow invites everyone in the room
there were about 30-40 people
to share their ideas about marketing the film
"..& oh by the way thanks to nick nolte
for being with us tonight.."
i turn around
& there is 5 rows behind me is nick nolte

the conversation picks up
and this blond women is speaking
articulating some interesting insight
for about 3 minutes before i realize its
goldie hawn...

a few more folks speak up
then the man sitting near goldie speaks up
sharing a wonderful suggestion
about the wisdom of hiding the film
and letting those who really want to find it
do so
once again it took a moment before i realized
it was kurt russell...
we shook hands on the way out
what a great night..
what a great film...
westcoast premier june 2nd
will be entered in the inspirational film festival
in santa monica april 28th...
